About my talks: My talks last between 60 and 90 minutes - they are accompanied by high quality PowerPoint presentations, created using my own photographs and research.. About me: I was born in the Staffordshire Moorlands and since a young boy have had a passion for all aspects of its history. I studied Physical Geography at university and I am now a high school teacher in Cheshire. In addition to prehistoric archaeology my interests include landscape detection, entomology, mining history and folklore. I am also a keen caver and climber, often to be found exploring some remote corner of the Peak District. I am also a keen writer, having published almost a dozen books on prehistoric archaeology and industrial history. Along with writingI run a local history group in North Staffordshire, and lead numerous public natural history walks.
