About me...

After completing a combined four year BTEC and HND in fashion design at the London College of Fashion I launched into my working career as a head buyer at Londons Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
After mastering the workings of Ballet and Opera I proceeded to continue the journey within the Westend by working on productions including Jesus Christ Superstar as well as various fringe theatre productions and commercials for the BBC.
My next job role was working as a ladies period costumier for the worlds leading costume house “Angels The Costumiers” where I worked on numerous films, theatre productions and television dramas as well as working for high end fashion designers assisting on seasonal collections.
Assisting on Eastenders and numerous bond films were iconic moments as I never could have imagined that I would be watching films and dramas, recognising the costumes I had played a part in styling!Amanda Sutherland accessories was launched in 2002 where I started out my business in a shared bridal boutique promoting through local events and recommendations.
