Carole Adam

Location: Norwich, Norfolk
About me...

I have been a volunteer with the national charity Pets As Therapy (PAT) for 15 years now. I’m currently the Pets As Therapy Co-coordinator and dog assessor for Norfolk and I love what I do. I’m passionate about the human companion animal bond and all the good work being done by Pets As Therapy Teams in the community.

About my talk...

I use mainly power point with lots of photos, some short video clips and audio content. I have my own laptop, projector, sound system and need only a screen or wall to project onto.
When invited to give a talk I’m always accompanied by a colleague and a Pets As Therapy registered dog.

Fee:

I have no fee but a donation to the charity is always welcome. In addition I would ask for 30p per mile towards travel expenses.
I’m willing to travel anywhere within Norfolk.

Pets As Therapy

Public Speaker Carole Adam speaks about Pets As Therapy.

My subject is how the charity started, the free community service provided by a dedicated team of volunteers with their temperamentally assessed dogs and cats. Established in 1983 Pets As Therapy is the leading charity providing Animal Assisted Therapy across the whole of the UK.

I’m always accompanied by a colleague and a Pets As Therapy registered dog and I can tailor my talk to your needs, anywhere between 10-90 minutes.
