I write regularly for YOUR CHICKENS MAGAZINE and am one of their Experts. I have written various books including HENS IN THE GARDEN, EGGS IN THE KITCHEN; CHICKEN RUNS AND VEGETABLE PLOTS and CHICKOPEDIA.

About my talks...

I have my own projector and screen. I have given talks at numerous locations from National Trust properties, Farmshop Cafes, RHS to Rural Life Museums, gardening clubs and garden centres, day centres and WIs.

Fee:

I usually charge a fee of £60 plus some travel expenses if the venue is a long way away.

This is the story of a first world war poet, MAY WEDDERBURN CANNAN, who was my Great Aunt and her love for BEVIL QUILLER-COUCH (son of Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch, known as Q and the Editor of the Oxford Book of English Verse. The book The Tears of War was made into a Radio 4 Afternoon Drama.
