I’m a Medical Herbalist and University Lecturer, and run my own City centre clinic, as well as teaching and inspiring people to make their own simple medicinal remedies from plants and herbs. I also make my own skin-care products and tea blends. Born and raised in Lincoln, my passion for the outdoors started from an early age, and now I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge of our native medicinal herbs and simple traditional herbal remedies with people from all walks of life, and all abilities, and inspiring people to take an active role in looking after their health, naturally, safely and using simple and fun-to-make herbal preparations with often home-sourced ingredients.
About my Talks...
I like to keep my talks interactive, so whilst I’m able to provide a slide-show, if your group has a projector and screen I can link to my laptop, I usually bring lots of interesting examples of plants to pass around the room, for you to observe, feel and smell, and in some cases taste. Depending on the time of year, and facilities within the room I may brew a pot of fresh herb tea for attendees to try.
Fee: I charge £50 for a one hour talk / demonstration (including Q&A afterwards), for talks within a 10 mile radius of my home in Lincoln. Outside of that area, I charge 50p per mile, in addition to the talk fee.
Herb walks are charged at a different rate (per person attending), which can be flexible, depending on how many people attend.
