About him...
Mervyn Edwards is the author of nearly twenty published books on North Staffordshire history and is a weekly columnist for the Sentinel’s The Way We Were nostalgia magazine. He has appeared on TV’s The One Show, and is a familiar voice on Radio Stoke. He was a local history tutor for the Workers’ Educational Association for eight years, and runs an annual history programme in North Staffordshire. He is the entertaining emcee of Burslem History Club. The titles offered here are aimed at groups and societies interested in local history and are generally fast-moving and lively presentations.

I cover most of the geographical area of North Staffordshire as well as numerous themes. The following titles are not a comprehensive list so please contact me if you are interested in a particular area or theme
My presentations are all powerpoint.
I can bring a projector stand and projector screen, though it is far more convenient for all concerned if the venue has either a screen or a whitewashed wall in situ.
Fee:
My starting figure is presently £40 for a 45-60 minute presentation, depending on geographical distance. I require transport from my address in Newcastle-under-Lyme to the venue and transport back.
