Location: Burton Joyce, Nottingham
About me...

Born in Lincoln where I lived for the first 25 years. I am a Freeman of the City of Lincoln.  I worked for I.C.I.  all my working life in far flung places ….Cambridge, Bristol before settling in Nottingham in 1979.  I’m married with 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Rotarian since 1980 …. Past President Carlton (Nottingham) Rotary Club on two occasions 1992/3 and again 2016/17

About my talks...

I have a Stand Alone version of the talks which makes me popular as an  After Dinner speaker or to present as a Stand Alone speaker where space is limited or the room is an awkward shape.  Normally, I give a Power Point presentation and provide my own laptop and projector. I also have the talk on a memory stick so that I can use the venue’s equipment when that is the required system.

I have given these humorous presentations to almost 400 organisations during the past 5 years ( W.I. Clubs, Rotary Clubs, Probus Clubs, & U3A) within a radius of 50 miles from my home in Burton Joyce, Nottingham including Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and South Yorkshire..

If you’ve been let down at the last minute – give me a ring, I can often step in.

Fee:

I take no fee or expenses, but if you consider it to be worthy of a donation, my chosen charity is Asthma UK. This presentation makes an ideal opportunity to invite partners and prospective members to attend.

I’m often available at short notice….. so it is worth giving me a ring if you find yourself without a speaker.
