About me...
I was born in India and trained as a Fashion Designer in the United States in the days of Mary Quant and worked for a while in New York. I then came to live in England and furthered my fashion career in a very interesting and unusual way, raising funds for various charities and running a successful fashion boutique for many years.
With a wonderful husband by my side we raised a family and bought a ruin in rural France with no electricity or running water as a hands-on project for ourselves and our sons, something that has stood them in good stead and given us many hilarious stories.
Last year I wrote an autobiography which also includes a brief history of the Parsis during the British Raj in India and my illustrious ancestors. I am in the process of completing another book about the story of women’s emancipation and education under the British Raj in India. Both books will be available from March 2018.
