I have had passion for genealogy for many years and my main area of search these days is relating your DNA results to the shared matches on genealogical websites and how to make sense of these. I presented to the 2018 Genealogy conference “Secret Lives” and I am currently writing a book of the true story of this East End family in the early 19th century ( the Krays of their day) and later their possible links to Jack the Ripper.
About my Talks...
The talks are all about 45 minutes and then 10/15 minutes for questions but I can shorten or extend as necessary. All the talks are fully illustrated by PowerPoint slides. I have my own projector, and only require a screen or other projection surface. I am equally able to present as Stand Alone when required for After Dinner occasions or when the venue is not suitable for a visual presentation.
I am happy to bring my talk on a memory stick if the venue has its own equipment.
My fee is £90.00 plus modest travel expenses. For venues in London, an additional charge will be required due to the length of time spent travelling.
I have relatives in Devon and so I can travel there without requiring overnight accommodation and would require just a modest amount towards the travelling cost on the basis that I’ll be visiting my family.
