This set of embroideries is unique in that it was created researched and designed by one person over a period of five and a half years. Overall, the panels measure 24ft by 3ft deep and the people of Staffordshire regard them as their 'Mini Bayeux Tapestry'.  It was presented as a Millennium gift to the people of Staffordshire in the custody of the St Mary's Heritage Centre in Lichfield.  Sylvia was awarded the MBE in 2002 for this magnificent gift to her fellow Staffordians.   Sylvia travels throughout the UK speaking about her embroideries.
