About Stella Lyons...
Stella Grace Lyons studied History of Art at the University of Bristol and is now a freelance lecturer in the subject. She spent a year studying Renaissance art in Italy at the British Institute of Florence and attended drawing classes at the prestigious Charles H. Cecil studios. Stella is an Art Expert for Saga’s Art Appreciation holidays and travels around the UK lecturing in galleries, cathedrals and country houses. In addition, she lectures on a variety of art periods for the Cardiff-based adult education company Classical Education Forum, and for the newly renovated Penarth Pier Pavilion. Stella has also delivered talks for various arts societies, schools, WEA, and for the National Trust. She gained a 1st class from the University of Bristol for her dissertation about the effects of Darwinism on the art of William Burges in Cardiff Castle and Castell Coch. In October 2016 Stella began her History of Art MA degree with the University of Warwick, and is currently living in Venice studying Renaissance Art for three months. Stella is represented by London literary agent Andrew Lownie.

Stella has an extensive list of 50 minute lectures she can give, many at short notice.
She can also create bespoke lectures or day schools.
All Stella’s lectures are delivered via powerpoint, using high-quality and detailed digital images. She requires a screen and projector but if you do not have these, please still get in touch. She is happy to travel anywhere in the UK and Europe.
Talks start at £150 with reasonable travel expenses.
