About me...
I am a 69 year old retired Quality Engineer who worked for a large engineering company who made transducers for all types of industries.
I am university trained and have been taking photographs for over 40 years and have gained wide-ranging experience on how pictures work. I am a relaxed type of photographer who loves trying all the different categories of photography that are available. I love to help people who are struggling with the basic fundaments of picture taking. I am approachable and have an easy-going attitude to explaining how camera’s and photos work. My aim is to turn people who take snaps into good photographers.
About my Talks...
Firstly I charge a token payment, and have not increased my fees for the four years I have been conducting lectures, I do this not for the money but for the love of photography.
Usually my talks last between 50 and 60 minutes and I also have a longer version for organisations who like a break during the event. However I can tailor any talk to last as long as required. I supply my own laptop, screen and projector though I am happy to use in-house equipment when it is available.
I conduct lectures to Camera Clubs, U3A groups, Rotary Clubs, PROBUS groups, WI groups, Gardening Groups and General Hobby Groups, manly in the East Midlands.
Fee:
My Fee is £40 plus modest travelling expenses when more than 10 miles from my home in Forest Town, Nottinghamshire.
