About me...
Hi I’m Freya Levy, Active Essex Sports Personality of the year and I currently play Para Ice Hockey With the Great Britain Women’s Team, I’m on the Great Britain Women’s U25 Wheelchair basketball team and Academy Programme, and currently the only female player in the England Wheelchair Rugby 7s Squad. I’m also supported by Michael Johnson on his Young Leaders program as a mentor for new leaders.
I’ve not always been disabled, diagnosed suddenly with FSH Muscular Dystrophy at 14, I had to quickly change from an early career in rugby and football, to a new adventure in disability sports.
About my talks...
My presentations are normally PowerPoint form with a lot of pictures and videos from my career so far, however if this is not possible I’m happy to be a stand alone (no pun intended) speaker. I can bring my own laptop if needed but do not have my own projector or speakers. I’m flexible with timings, some talks have been 20 minutes, some I’ve done for 1-2 hours, what ever suits your needs best.
Fee:
Fee: £100 as well as reasonable expenses – however I’m open to negotiation on the fee depending on the event.
Areas to travel: I’m very flexible and drive so am open to anywhere in the UK as long as there are reasonable expenses, however, I am based in Essex.
