About me...
Before retiring at the end of May 2014  I was in Retailing at Head Office Level.  Since retiring I do voluntary work for the National Trust, St Margaret’s Hospice and the Swan Theatre in Yeovil, I also walk regularly with the South Somerset Rambler’s.

My Adventures in Nepal

My Talk is about my three weeks in Nepal in November 2014 Fund Raising for St Margaret’s Hospice and helping the Nepalese people by painting the Outside Walls of a newly built Cancer Hospital and building a House for a Family who lost their home in the Earthquake.

My Travels in Vietnam

Vietnam was my first trek and was a great experience staying in “Homestays” while walking through villages and experiencing how the “Locals” live

My Australian Adventure and trekking across the Cradle Mountain in Tasmania.

Tasmania, Trekking across the Cradle Mountain, my first experience of carrying all my own equipment, Tent and Sleeping Bag etc on the Trek, camping at night on the Mountain and hearing wombats outside my Tent.

Walking Hadrian's Wall

Hadrian’s Wall, 5 days to walk 84 miles from Wall’s End Newcastle to Bowness, incredible views on the middle section of the countyside and the wall approaching the Fort at Houndstone.
